Hoarseness
The most common cause is upper respiratory tract infection (URTI).
Other causes include:
- gastroesophageal reflux disorder
- allergic rhinitis and post-nasal drip
- head and neck cancer
- laryngeal papillomatosis
- vocal cord nodules
- vocal cord polyps
- unilateral vocal cord paralysis
