Acute and chronic kidney disease is very common, and health care providers should watch carefully for signs and symptoms of renal impairment.
Kidney disease can lead to many non-specific signs and symptoms, including fatigue, malaise, or anorexia. Acute renal failure can result in more severe signs, including hypertension, edema, changes in urine production, hematuria, or dark-coloured urine.
