Tetanus

 

The tetanus vaccine is a toxoid (subunit) vaccine. As there is no whole cell, many boosters are required.

 

 

For immunization, 3 shots in your life, plus a booster every 10 years.

 

For 50% of people, the source of tetanus is never identified.

 

A pg of tetanus toxoid is enough to kill someone.
