This delicious granola regularly makes it way to my siblings and I, thanks to a mother's love!
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla
2 3/4 cups quick rolled oats
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
2 tbsp ground flax seed
3/4 cup dried fruit, ie raisins, cranberries
3/4 cup unsweetened coconut
Preheat oven to 275 F/140 C.
In a large bowl, mix maple syrup, oil, honey, and vanilla. Add oats, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, sesame seeds, and flax seed. Mix well and spread on baking sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Add dried fruit and coconut, mix well, and bake for another 15 minutes or until lightly brown. Let cool before storing.
Enjoy with yogurt, milk, or on its own!
