Introduction

exogenous glucocorticoids is the commonest cause.

Cushing's Disease: pituitary ACTH overproduction, resulting in bilateral adrenal hyperplasia.

Ectopic ACTH: SCLC, pancreatic tumors, thyroid tumors, phaeochromocytomas

Adrenal tumours: GC-producing tumours
