papulosquamous - well-defined, red and scaly lesions

eczematous - poorly-defined red and scaly lesions

erythematous reactions

transient - urticaria

longer: drug or viral exanthems

purpura

persistent - erythema multiforme (target lesions)

macule - flat area below 1 cm

patch - flat area above 1 cm

papule - raised area below 1 cm, mountain-like

plaque - raised area above 1 cm, raised and flat, like a plateau

nodule - soft or solid masses on or below the skin surface

vesicle - fluid-filled lesion below 1cm

bulla - fluid-filled above 1 cm
