Daisy Dharmaraj

Dr Dharmaraj is a professor in Community medicine from India, with 3 decades of experience in planning and implementing community health programs and a trainer of different levels of health care providers. She has undergone diploma courses in the areas of gender and law, disaster and health, and disaster management in India and in Europe.

 

She is also a public health activist in the areas of breast feeding, essential medicines, rights of people living with HIV and reproductive health. Lastly, she is a consultant to NGOs and donors in the area of training and evaluations, and is a PHAST (Participatory Hygiene and Sanitation Transformation) trainer with experience in India, Afghanistan, Nepal, and Myanmar.
